The Plateo is the icon of Agriverde and the Di Carlo family, the result of history, tradition, passion but above all of continuous experimentation in all stages of production … from the vineyard to the bottle.

A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo that thanks to the particular geological and climatic conditions, thanks to the processing techniques, the experimentation and the enological knowledge of Riccardo Brighigna who has been able to transfer to the Plateo the exclusivity and excellence of being able to satisfy the taste buds and expectations of the most demanding palates in the world.

Some of the most important wine makers in the world have considered Plateo as a reference point for Italian enology: in the story of Luciano di Lello (Gambero Rosso wine journalist) it is considered “One of the best wines ever produced in Italy, which moves the ‘reference axis of oenology towards Abruzzo ”; also chosen by the “Citè du Vin of Bordeaux” avant-garde museum of world enology and included in the French list of Meilleur Jeune among the best wines in the world.

Plateo 2015 is the first vintage with the “Riserva” denomination …does not change much in substance, in fact with the term reserve we want to reaffirm and certify the long process of selection, of aging in large oak barrels and then of refining in the bottle, the times of each phase vary from many factors that are constantly monitored by our work group.

Thanks to the aforementioned characteristics and the fact that only the best vintages are destined for the production of Plateo, this means that in each bottle we always manage to obtain the maximum power of fruit and extractive substance, in fact, all vintages are capable of highlighting a longevity disarming sometimes hard to believe.

Plateo is a living product, it is the perfect synthesis of the relationship between man, place, season, culture and respect for the environment.

Plateo is produced only in the best years with a very limited production, these prerogatives makes this wine unique and exclusive.

For many but not for everyone…
